We Do Not Collect Your Data

🔒 100% local processing. Your images are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored on any server. Everything happens inside your browser.

Specifically, the Extension does not:

Upload your images or files to any server
Collect personally identifiable information (PII)
Track your browsing history or activity
Use analytics, telemetry, or crash-reporting services
Store data beyond your current browser session (except user preferences saved locally via chrome.storage.local)
Share any information with third parties

Local Preferences

What We Store Locally

The Extension may save user preferences (such as selected output format or last-used quality setting) using Chrome's local storage API. This data:

Remains entirely on your device
Is never transmitted anywhere
Can be cleared by removing the Extension or clearing browser data

Chrome Permissions

Permissions Explained

The Extension requests the following Chrome permissions and uses them only as described:

activeTab

Allows the popup to interact with the currently active browser tab when the user clicks the extension icon. Used solely to display the popup UI — no page content is read.

storage

Saves your preferences (output format, quality setting) to chrome.storage.local so they persist between sessions. Data never leaves your device.

Open Source

Third-Party Libraries

The Extension bundles the following open-source libraries. They run entirely in your browser and do not send data anywhere:

No analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or advertising libraries are included.

Children

Children's Privacy

The Extension is a general-purpose productivity tool and does not target children under 13. Since no personal data is collected from any user, there is no additional risk to minors.

Updates

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with a new effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
